How I spent my Fourth of July

My friend, Caleb, and I have decided to start a continuous project where we draw something every day based on a theme. We have yet to be successful. This past theme was "stylized realism". I was inspired by the comic book artist, Phil Noto: http://www.notoart.com/

Who better to draw than the infamous Bill Murray? He plays Walt Bishop in the new Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom. If you haven't seen it yet, go now.

Just a few more adjustments, and Walt will be complete!

  1. That was a great movie! Love this piece! I just saw it on the Wes Anderson FB page. We love Bill Murray movies at our house. We even had a Bill Murray movie marathon a few years ago. You should do something for him as Steve Zissou.
